Today was our first time hiking. We walked the outer loop trail along the inlet that leads to songo lock. The trail was nice, marked by blue diamond blazes, and had a nice little offshoot to a small sandy spot on the shore. Looking forward to coming back to explore more trails.
Live near park. Great trails. Open year round. Staff friendly. Remember "carry in-carry out" keep our parks clean ☆
Nice lake great place to have a picnic. They have a snack bar. Play ground. And they have a smoking area for smokers. Also have cookers if you want bbq.
My family and I go here every year. We love it. I wish they would update the old "trailer" we stay in.
I come here to swim with my toddler all the time. There's a nice playground for big and little kids. The beach is sandy and has nice shaded picnic tables, and the water gradually gets deeper, which is great for the wee one.
Nice views. Great place to bring the family to have a picnic. Good place to put in a canoe or kayak and enjoy one of Maine's second largest lake.
